MVP Tifo

Carles Gil has been nothing but impressive wearing a Revolution jersey. Game in and out he is always showing us why he deserves to wear the number 10 as well as be our captain. Gil brought us to a league record 73 points in 2021. Once he became the 2021 MVP, the first from Revolution in over 15 years, we knew that he deserved more than just a MVP trophy.

The Tifo on Saturday was created in honor of Gil’s MVP award but many may have missed the hidden message included.

Charlotte FC is known as The Queen City. We were careful to choose our wording to not only honor Carles as being the reigning MVP of the league but also the King of MLS. While wearing a crown, we wanted to show Charlottle FC that they may have a crown as their logo but they are in no way MLS royalty.

On top of the Supporter Shield coins we provided all players last season, we decided to provide Gil his very own Supporter Shield Scarf so he would always remember what he did for our organization.
