The Ray Sullivan Unsung Hero Award

The thing about Ray was that his attitude was infectious. He was someone who always made you laugh and smile. In some ways, there was always a sense of positivity around and a sense of what if. It shows through in his career as a politician as well. Working on the Obama campaign had a slogan that was close to Ray. Hope.

Working on the politics of the “what if’s”, Ray always saw the best in people. it's why his favorite soccer play was always the unsung hero. The guy who did a lot on the field but never got the praise for it. The Scott Caldwells of the world. He had a natural ability to bring that in a person.

This award is dedicated to a New England Revolution supporter that goes above and beyond the call of duty. The individual puts others before themselves and will always be there to lend a helping hand when needed.
