Meet the Rebel: Cameron Ramos
With the 2013 season right around the corner, we proudly bring back our Meet the Rebel series. After a little break during the off season, we’re back and better then ever.
For our first Meet the Rebel of the 2013 season, we happily introduce you to Cameron Ramos!!
Rebellion: Where are you from?
Cameron: Stoughton, Ma
Rebellion: What would you say is your first Revs memory?
Cameron: My first Revs memory was when my dad took me to a season ticket holder event when I was six years old. I met my first pro soccer player, Jay Heaps, and I still have the picture in my bed room. I remember telling my dad from that day that Jay heaps was going to be my favorite player and my dad bought me his jersey for my birthday.
Rebellion: Everyone has a favorite Revs memory, what would yours be?
Cameron: There are so many to pick from, but if I had to pick one then it would be the 2008 SuperLiga final vs the Dynamo. It was awesome to see the boys pick up a trophy in PKs after the 07 MLS Cup. It didn’t really make up for the 07 loss, but it was still sweet to get a win over Houston.
Rebellion: How about your worst Revs memory?
Cameron: A tie between the 07 MLS Cup, the morning that Shalrie Joseph got traded to Chivas USA, and the night I found out that Heaps retired.
Rebellion: What’s something we might be surprised to know about you?
Cameron: I bought a Shalrie Joseph Chivas USA jersey probably 3 hours after the trade went through. Continue reading
Scarf Design & Membership Release
Attention Rebels and Rebellettes…drum roll please!
The last couple of years have been a roller coaster of emotions for our beloved boys in blue to say the least. However, the Rebellion looks to change that in 2013 as we rally around Coach Heaps. As always we try to incorporate these themes into our members’ scarf design.
This year our scarf is designed upon a plaid foundation with our colors interwoven together, symbolizing the individuality of members uniting together to support the Revs. Below the bold white lettered New England is our promise, our cause to forever support the club through thick and thin. On back, two evergreen trees;a symbol made famous on the flag of New England carried by colonial militia and sewn on to every Revs jersey. Centered on the back, bordered by exactly six stars representing each New England state is the signature Rebellion fist. Since banishing the shackles of English rule, New England have united for a common cause, let’s continue that this season.
The season kicks off March 9th away against Chicago. We know which group we’ll be representing, and what scarf we’ll be proudly wearing!

Rebellion Hurricane Sandy Relief Raffle
Hurricane Sandy hit hard. Several areas were completely decimated when Hurricane Sandy smashed into New York and New Jersey. People are without homes, power, fuel and heat. It will take months before infrastructure is back in place and Winter is fast approaching. See below for a better description of what decimated means.
We here in New England barely dodged this. It’s now time to step up and help our fellow Americans in NY/NJ as they struggle to recover from this disaster.
Support the cause by buying a raffle ticket (buy multiple tickets) to help raise money for the American Red Cross Hurricane Sandy Relief fund.
We will be raffling items like old school autographed Alexi Lalas posters to stuff like FIFA 13 for PS3. The more tickets you buy for an item…the better chance you have of yours being drawn!
