Tailgate/ Pre-game Guide
Tailgating is an important part of the game day plan in The Rebellion. It is where all Rebels gather pre-game and work on new songs and ideas for that game and future ones. It also allows information to be passed on regarding tifo and other game day activities. This year the parking lot will contain 2 supporters groups as we welcome the Midnight Riders to lot 4c. We have lots of stuff planned as far as games and music, but feel free to add to the atmosphere as much as possible and enjoy yourself!
Here are some answers to tailgating frequently asked questions:
| Where do we park?
The Rebellion tailgate lot is in lot 4C. It is located on the EAST side of the stadium, in front of Showcase Live and CBS Scene and next to the access road. The lot is accessible from both route 1 north and south and provides both easy entrance and exit from Gillette Stadium. Parking is always FREE for MLS matches. When should we get there? Supporters’ Group parking will always open 2 and half hours before scheduled kick off. If the match is scheduled for 7:30 PM, parking will open at 5:00 PM.
Here is a list of items we suggest you bring to the Rebellion tailgate. These items will maximize your pre-match experience.
1. Small Grill- Many of our members enjoy grilling food before matches. A small gas or charcoal grill is a wise investment. If you can’t bring your own, there is always a fellow Rebel willing to let you use their’s. Don’t be afraid to ask a fellow Rebel! 2. Cooler- This is a no brainer, but whatever you put in it is up to you. |

| 3. Tailgate Chair- Because sometimes you just need a good pre game sit down.
These are just some suggestions but feel free to bring whatever you want and feel will add to the atmosphere, We just ask you refrain from bringing a boom box or stereo system. Finally, each tailgate ends with our march into the stadium. These take place anywhere from 30 minutes to 20 minutes before kick off. The march is used to get you pumped up to rock The Fort and to get everyone else all fired up for the match! So be safe and we’ll be seeing you soon. |
