Who is Rebel HQ?

Rebel HQ is the board of volunteers who guide The Rebellion on its path to glory.

What kind of things do we do?

• Operate the Rebellion social media accounts
• Design and order merchandise
• Run website
• Liaison  with the Front Office
• Work with other Supporter Groups
• Run charitable events
• Make tifo, flags, banners
• Coordinate viewing parties
• A bunch of other menial tasks that make this group run

Volunteers are always wanted.  Ideas are always welcome.  It’s sounds cliche to say but THIS IS YOUR GROUP.  It’s everyone’s responsibility to make it better.

Favorite Revs Moment:  Sitting in section 120 in 2000 arguing with a fan who didn’t believe that Jamar Beasley, then a revs forward and brother of Demarcus Beasley was a superstar.  A 15 year old version of me made a ridiculous guarantee that he’d score a goal in a game against San Jose.  He scored two and I was applauded for my foresight.  Jamar Beasley’s career did not fare so well.

Favorite Revs Moment:  1 – 0 win against DC in the Eastern Conference Finals in 2006. Twellman scored in the 4th minute and it was a nail bitter from there on out.  It was an amazing feeling being able to walk out of an away stadium knowing you’re going to MLS Cup.

Favorite Revs Moment:  My favori te Revs moment was my first Revs game. It was the Revs vs KC Wizards game back in 1996. It was a beautiful June night. Remember those uniforms…hideous. Regardless, I was 13 and I was with my youth soccer team. This was my first professional game ever and the atmosphere was electric. The fort was rocking, the staduim was full of the noise, the play on the field was entertaining, and I was hooked. The game was tied 1-1 after 90 minutes and the Revs won during the penalty shoot out.
