The 2012 Scarf Design

The front face of the 2012 Rebellion scarf boldly proclaims your allegiance.  It shows everyone that you are New England proud.  What better way to summarize all that New England has done from Colonial times to present day with the simple slogan: First to Rise Up; Last to Back Down .  This motto serves to remind all that from Colonial times on through to the present day, that we as New Englanders are the first to stand up for what we believe, first to fight for those beliefs, and under no circumstances do we back down!

From the shores of Narragansett Bay up through the Berkshires and on into the Green Mountains over to the White; from the Connecticut Valley and the streets of Boston through to the Maine coast what better symbol to capture the sprit of New Englanders than the New England flag.  This symbol of the independent fighting spirit, and sense of duty unique to  New Englanders was initially carried by the militias of the New England colonies is still carried today by New England based National Guard units, our modern Minutemen.  Through this simple, powerful, and unmistakable symbol of New England the Rebellion will honor and channel those who carried this flag before us.  It was left blank, with no writing, to preserve its simplicity and bold look.  This is a proud symbol, belonging to every New Englander.  It has been used in the Fort by fans and supporters throughout the club’s history and now this year, incorporated onto the team jersey.  In wearing it you represent not only The Rebellion, but New England as a whole.
